2009 Resident Christmas Party goes ahead despite the rain!
The 2009 Resident Christmas Party went ahead on Sunday 29 November from
2-6pm at Rec 2 oval. As tradition seems to dictate, the rain came at
about 3pm which sent the 200 residents running for cover! About 100
residents remained after the rain to enjoy Santa, the jumping castle
and Wasp Creek BBQ.
Thanks to everyone who came along and to all our volunteers. A great time was had in a fun, casual environment.

The Coomera Waters Fathers' Family Fun Day was a great success on Sunday 6 September! Approx. 40 mums, dads, grandparents and kids took part in the 45 min group walk from Sandy Beach to Tradition Place and back to Sandy Beach. The kids got stickers along the way and there were lots of decorated prams, bikes, skateboards etc.
About 60 people then attended the Community Picnic at Sandy Beach and enjoyed the magical entertainment from Crystal the Fairy (her rabbit, Marshmallow, was a big hit!) plus all the races, relays and games.
Big thanks to everyone who participated in the fun day! Funds raised will go to the Playgroup Children's Foundation and also our two local Playgroups. We hope all our Dads and Grandads had a great day.
